25 Cool Windows 7 Keyboard Tricks That Will Impress Your Friends

 

Anyone working professionally with a computer has their hands on the keyboard most of the time. Reaching for the mouse can be an annoying disturbance and personally I often turn over my mouse in such situations. An easy solution is to simply keep the hands on the keyboard and complete as many tasks as possible with keyboard shortcuts only.

Apart from making you work more efficiently and faster, you can also impress your friends or colleagues by being able to work without a mouse. This article describes some cool Windows 7 keyboard tricks to get you started. In the end you might never want to take your hands off the keyboard again.

For your convenience, more keyboard shortcut resources are attached at the bottom.

Note that some of these shortcuts will only work if Windows Aero is enabled. If Aero effects are disabled on your computer, it might not be powerful enough to support resource intensive graphical features. The visual effects may also have been disabled to increase overall performance. Aero Shortcuts


[Windows] + [Spacebar] (Aero Peek)
Make all open windows transparent to view gadgets and icons on desktop.


[Windows] + [D] (Aero Peek)
Show or hide the desktop.


[Windows] + [Home] (Aero Shake)
Minimize all but selected window. Reverse by clicking the key combination again.


[Windows] + [left arrow] OR [Windows] + [Right arrow] (Aero Snap)
Dock selected window to the left or right half of your screen.


[Windows] + [UP arrow] OR [Windows] + [down arrow] (Aero Snap)
Maximized and restores the selected window.


[Windows] + [SHIFT] + [up arrow] OR [Windows] + [SHIFT] + [down arrow] (Aero Snap)
Maximizes and restores selected window in vertical dimension only.


[Windows] + [Tab] (Aero Flip)
Launch 3D representation of open windows and click [Tab] key again to flip through them.
Windows & Taskbar


[Alt] + [Ctrl] + [Ta] + [left/right/up/down arrow]
Flip window.


[Alt] + [Tab]
Cycle through open windows.


[Windows] + [T] OR [Windows] + [SHIFT] + [T]
Move focus to front or back of taskbar. Press [T] again while holding the [Windows] key to cycle through items in the taskbar from left to right or, with [SHIFT] button held too, from right to left.


[Windows] + [B]
Puts focus on the ‘show hidden icons’ button on the system tray.


[Windows] + [1] THROUGH [Windows] + [9]
Launch first through ninth icon on taskbar, including items pinned to taskbar.


[Windows] + [SHIFT] + [1] THROUGH [Windows] + [SHIFT] + [9]
Starts new instance of respective taskbar icon.


[Windows] + [Ctrl] + [1] THROUGH [Windows] + [Ctrl] + [9]
Cycles through multiple instances of the respective icon.


[Windows] + [Alt] + [1] THROUGH [Windows] + [Alt] + [9]
Opens jump list for respective icon.




Multiple Monitors


[Windows] + [SHIFT] + right arrow OR [Windows] + [SHIFT] + left arrow
Move selected window from one monitor to another. They will remain in the same relative location.


[Windows] + [P]
Select presentation display mode.




Magnifier


[Windows] + [+] OR [Windows] + [-]
Activates Windows Magnifier to zoom in or out of screen.


[Ctrl] + [Alt] + [D]
Switch to docked mode.


[Ctrl] + [Alt] + [L]
Switch to lense mode.


[Ctrl] + [Alt] + [F]
Switch from docked or lens mode back to full screen mode.


[Ctrl] + [Alt] + [I]
Invert colors.


[Windows] + [Esc]
Exist magnifier views.


Other


[Windows] + [G]
Cycle through desktop gadgets.


[Windows] + [X]
Launches Windows Mobility Center. Especially useful if you’re working on a laptop.

Why your Downloading speed is less than the given speed by your ISP? Ans:...

Hello Friends today i just want to share an info which mostly people don't know that why exactly it happens? i.e.

There downloading speed or Transfer rate is less than the normal given speed by your Internet Service provider.

For Example:- If your internet speed is 512 Kbps , you'll get the Downloading speed approx 60 kBps speed. 

But why it happens? is really your speed is lesser than your ISP claims? 

Answer is NO

and the reason is just in front of you:- its just the difference of Small "b" and capital "B" in kbps and kBps 

           "b" stands for "bits"

and     "B" stands for "Bytes"

Where your ISP tells your speed in kbps (kilo bits per second)

your computer tell your downloading speed in KBps (kilo bytes per second)

because :  8 bits (b) = 1 byte (B) 

so it means your 512 kbps = 64 KBps

Which you all usualy gets :) .. So your ISP is providing the same speed you getting.

Kaspersky Trial Reset By Registry Editor For LifeTime

Hello Friends

Today this is my first and one of the most important trick for home users mostly i.e. to use antivirus for lifetime for free...

So let me tell you i used this trick for 1-2 years and its 100% success full for me and my Friends also to whom i told this. But I found Kaspersky very useful and for very less cost. so now i use this with a licence version.

So i also suggest you to please buy this useful product if you really liked it. This Trick is just for poor peoples who cant even afford an Antivirus :P

So here it goes. Read Carefully this post entirely before starting.

First of all You need Kaspersky Setup for This i used Setups Upto KIS 2011, KAV 2011 & Kaspersky Pure 9.1.0.124 you can download anyone from anywhere of them or lower version of these also 

Then Follow These Steps as under:- 

1. Install your Kaspersky Product (KIS, KAV, KPure) as default settings and complete the Installation process upto The licence activation.
         
2. When it ask for Activate Trial Version do these steps:-
   
        * Open Run                                                                                                                                        * Open Registry Editor by writing regedit in it                                                                                     * Here in left column Go to Directory mentioned in following step
               
3. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>MICROSOFT>SYSTEM CERTIFICATES>SPC>
      
4. Here Right click on CERTIFICATES and click on Export and save this file with some name like "kaspersky Trial reset" on ur desktop or anywhere where you can remember it.
        
5. Then Activate ur Trial licence.
       

Now ur 30 days trial is ready to use..

Now Whenever you want to Extend your trial period just follow these steps:-

1. Right click on Kaspersky Icon near pc clock and click on EXIT
   
2. Open that Kaspersky Trial Reset file Which you have made it and hit ok, yes etc..
   
3. Then Open Kaspersky again.. it will again ask for Activate Trial ..
   
4. Activate Trial Version again
   
5. Then once again EXIT and open kaspersky like i have mentioned earlier 

And its all done. Your Kaspersky is again ready for 30 days. :D It looks longer to read but when you'll learn it its a task of just seconds. :)
